Open to all professional and hobby photographers across Europe – submit your most inspiring work and win a €2,000 Saal Digital voucher in one of the six categories. Every photo submitted helps the environment: for each entry, we’ll plant a deciduous tree in Germany. Submissions are open from September 15th to October 31st, 2025.
Submit your photos by 31st October 2025, selecting the category that best fits your work and completing the simple upload process in just a few clicks. After submissions close, a panel of professional photographers and industry experts will carefully evaluate every entry. One winner in each category will be awarded a €2,000 Saal Digital voucher to use across our premium products. Winners will be announced in early November 2025 – just in time to showcase your achievement during our autumn events.

Each category winner of the Saal Digital European Photo Awards will receive a €2,000 Saal Digital voucher – valid for our entire range of high-quality photo products. You can use your prize to:

By sharing your creativity, you’re also helping the planet. For every photo you submit to the Saal Digital European Photo Awards, we will plant one deciduous tree in Germany – up to a maximum of 3,000 trees. Your participation not only celebrates photography, but also supports reforestation and biodiversity for future generations. Together, we can make a difference – one image, one tree at a time.
You can submit up to 5 photos in total – either all within one category or spread across multiple categories – and increase your chances of winning, as each category has its own Saal Digital voucher prize.
Click on your chosen category, then click the “Upload Picture” button. You’ll be guided to create a free Saal Digital account if you don’t already have one. Once registered, you can upload your photo and complete your entry.
The competition is open to both professional and hobby photographers.
Yes – you can submit more than one photo in a single category, but the total number of submissions across all categories is limited to 5 photos.
Yes – you can submit photos to different categories, provided that the total number of submissions does not exceed 5 photos in total.
Saal Digital is granted the rights to publish photos submitted for the competition for competition-related purposes only. If your photo is selected, it will be shared on our official social media channels with your photographer name credited. No other usage is expected.
We will announce the winners publicly on our social media channels and on the official competition page in early November 2025.
